Needle jet (-106)
Amal needle jet (622/079, later 622/079A) used in Amal carburetors listed for several unit-twin Triumph model figures.
Part number 622/079 is an Amal needle jet, listed in the carburetor sections for the T100S, T100, T100C, T100T, T100R, TR6R, TR6C, and T120R figures. This later version carries the -106 designation in the parts book. It's the small fixed jet the needle rides through in the carb body, working alongside the jet needle and throttle valve to meter fuel through the midrange of the throttle opening.

The catalog record for this one runs to 1968 and it turns up across eight separate listing rows, so it wasn't a rare or one-off fitment item in its day. It was later superseded by 622/079A, so if you're working from an older parts book or pulling one out of a carb that's been sitting a while, that's the number you may find stamped or listed instead.
We don't have material, size, or bore detail on file for this specific jet, so if you're trying to match one exactly, best to bring in the old part or your carb body and we'll confirm before you order.
