This is the banjo bolt that connects the brake hose to the Lockheed master cylinder or brake cylinder on the front or rear brake circuit. It is a hollow, shouldered bolt threaded 3/8x24, and it lets fluid pass through its center while sealing the hose fitting against the cylinder body with copper washers on either side.

It shows up in the catalog under both the FRONT BRAKE and REAR BRAKE figures, so the same part number is used at more than one location on the hydraulic brake system depending on the model and year. Catalog appearances for this bolt run from 1976 to 1983.
If you're bleeding or rebuilding a disc brake master cylinder, this is a part worth having on hand since it has to come out to swap a hose or cylinder, and the sealing washers on either side of it should generally be replaced when it's disturbed.
