Adjuster
A control-lever cable adjuster, Triumph part 60-3585, later superseded by 18/838.
This is the cable adjuster listed in the handlebar and control lever section of the parts books, part number 60-3585, also known by its earlier D3585 designation. It's the small threaded fitting used at the control lever end of a cable run to take up slack and set lever free play.

The catalog record shows this part across a long production span, appearing in handlebar and control lever figures from 1971 through 1983, so it saw plenty of use on unit-era Triumphs. Later on, the factory replaced it with 18/838, so if your bike came with that number stamped in the book, you're looking at the same part under its updated designation.
If you're ordering off an older parts list and see 60-3585 or D3585, know that the modern equivalent is 18/838. Worth checking which lever and cable it mates to before you buy, since the books show it in more than one control-lever figure.
