Norton Washer
A flat washer used in Norton engine crankcase and engine mounting hardware, catalog number 60-2348.
This is a plain flat washer, catalog number 60-2348, that turns up twice in the engine records - once around the crankcases, filter, breather and tachometer drive area, and again with the engine mountings and spring head steady. It's a Norton part, not a Triumph one, so if you're cross-shopping this against Triumph hardware, set it aside.

A washer like this does the basic job any flat washer does: spreads the load under a nut or bolt head and protects the mating surface. With two different appearances in the engine fastening areas, it likely gets reused in more than one spot during a rebuild, but we don't have enough detail to tell you exactly which bolt it goes under in either location.
If you're working from an older parts book and this number doesn't match what you've got listed, give us a call and we'll help sort out which washer you actually need.
