FRONT BRAKE CABLE TLS 500/650 WITH SWITCH (1969-70) VENHILL
Front brake cable with built-in brake light switch for the TLS front drum brake, 1969-70 Triumph/BSA 500 and 650.
This is the front brake cable for the twin-leading-shoe (TLS) drum front brake used on Triumph and BSA 500 and 650 machines, catalog-listed for 1969-70. The cable comes through as a Venhill piece in our records, and it's built with the brake light switch in line, so the cable itself carries the job of tripping your brake light along with pulling the front brake arm.

It shows up in our control-cable figures under 60-2076, with the older D2076 and MC-666/6 numbers referring to the same physical part. If you're chasing a replacement and your parts book still shows one of those older numbers, you're in the right place.
Our records also show this number was later replaced by 60-2076SW, so if you're cross-checking against a newer parts list, that's the number to look for. Since this is a cable with the switch built in, double check whether your bike's setup wants the combined cable-and-switch arrangement before you order, and give us a call if anything about your original setup looks different.
