Front brake cable
Cable-operated front drum brake cable for Triumph, listed as 60-0417 (also D417).
This is the front brake cable listed in Triumph's Control Cables and American figure, part number 60-0417, also found in older books under D417. On these pre-disc machines the front brake is a drum, cable-operated setup, and this cable runs from the front brake lever down to the brake arm at the wheel to pull the shoes into the drum.

Our catalog record only ties this one to a single model year, so we'd rather you double check the routing and end fittings against what's currently on your bike before ordering. Cables are one of those parts where an inch of length or a different end shape means it won't seat right, even when the part number looks correct.
If you're not sure whether 60-0417 or D417 is what your parts book calls for, give us a call and we'll sort out which one your bike actually needs.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
