Ring spanner, 5/8 in. x 11/16 in. Whit.
A 5/8 in. x 11/16 in. Whitworth ring spanner from the factory toolkit.
This is the ring spanner that came with the toolkit, sized for 5/8 in. and 11/16 in. Whitworth nuts and bolts. It's a double-ended ring (box) spanner, one size on each end, meant to live in the under-seat tool tray rather than in a mechanic's drawer.

You'll find it listed across toolkit figures alongside the frame lock, pillion footrest hardware, and licence holder, which tells you it was part of the standard kit handed over with the bike rather than a one-off service tool. The older alias D311 is just the earlier part numbering for the same wrench.
If you're putting together a correct toolkit for a restoration or just want a Whitworth ring spanner in these two sizes to keep on the bike, this is the one the catalog specifies.
