This is a mainshaft second gear, 20 tooth, out of the gearbox internals. It shows up in the gearbox shafts, bearings and inner cover figure, which places it right in the middle of the transmission stack on the mainshaft where it works with the corresponding layshaft gear to give you second speed.

The catalog carries this under 57-4031 now, but it's the same part that used to be listed as 57-1837 in earlier books and as T4031 under the old letter-prefix numbering. If your parts book still shows the older number, you're looking at the same gear.
