Kickstart stop
Kickstart stop for the gearbox inner cover, limits the kickstart lever's return travel.
This is the kickstart stop, a small gearbox internal that lives inside the inner cover along with the selector mechanism. Its job is to give the kickstart lever's return travel a physical limit, so the mechanism doesn't over-rotate when the lever comes back up after starting the bike.
