ADJUSTER T150 PRIMARY CHAIN
Primary chain tensioner adjuster for the T150 Trident, also listed as T3614.
This is the primary chain tensioner adjuster for the T150 Trident, part number 57-3614, also catalogued under the earlier T3614 designation. It shows up in the parts book under both the outer primary cover / chain tensioner / clutch control figure and the primary transmission and oil pump drive figure, which places it right in the primary chaincase where the drive chain runs between engine and clutch.

The adjuster is what lets you take up slack in the primary chain as it wears, working alongside the tensioner blade to keep the chain running true without excess play. It's a small part but an important one to have functioning correctly, since a primary chain that's too loose or too tight causes noise and accelerated wear on the chaincase components.
Given how it turns up across multiple catalog entries in this era, it's a part worth keeping in mind when you're servicing the primary chaincase generally, whether you're adjusting the chain or doing a full teardown. If you're working from an older parts list, look for it under the T3614 number.
