BSA Oil seal, kickstart spindle
Oil seal for the kickstart spindle, keeps gearbox oil from leaking out where the kickstart shaft passes through the case.
PN · 57-2461
This is the oil seal for the kickstart spindle, the shaft the kickstart lever pivots on where it passes through the gearbox or engine casing. Its job is to keep gearbox oil in and dirt out at that spindle bore, which is a spot that sees a lot of movement every time you kick the bike over.
