GEARBOX SPROCKET 17T 4 SPEED TRIUMPH 650

17 tooth gearbox final drive sprocket for the 4 speed gearbox on unit-construction Triumph 650 twins.

PN · 57-1916

This is the 17 tooth gearbox sprocket for the unit-construction 650 Triumph twin, fitted to the 4 speed gearbox. It lives on the end of the gearbox mainshaft and carries the final drive chain back to the rear wheel sprocket, so it's the last piece in the chain of gears before power gets sent out to the back of the bike. Catalog listings put it under the GEARBOX SHAFTS AND GEARS heading, and it shows up across several years of parts book entries for the 650 twins.

You'll also see this part under the older T1916 number or the SPR4SPD 17T catalog code — same physical sprocket, just different paperwork depending on which parts book you're holding. If you're rebuilding a gearbox or changing gearing, it's worth checking tooth count against what's already on the bike before you order, since these sprockets came in a few different sizes.

We stock this in the 17 tooth count specifically for the 4 speed gearbox on the 650 twins. If you're not sure whether your gearbox is the 4 speed version or need help sorting out gearing changes, give us a call before you order.
