This is the layshaft third gear, a 23-tooth gear that lives inside the gearbox on the layshaft cluster. It's part of the gear train that pairs up with the mainshaft gears to give you third gear when the selector forks slide it into engagement. The old book number for this one is T964, which is the same physical part as the current 57-0964.
