Nut—rotor stop screw
Small nut used on the rotor stop screw of Amal carburetors, part number 5/077.
This is the small nut Amal used on the rotor stop screw of their carburetors, part number 5/077. It's a fixture across a long run of Amal carburetor figures in the Triumph parts books, showing up on T100 variants, TR6R, TR6C, T120R, and general carburetor and control-lever listings from the early '60s through the mid '70s. If your parts book uses an older reference, this same nut has appeared under 210/009, 99-0224, and 99-7097 before landing on the current 5/077 number.

It's a small, easy-to-overlook piece, but it's part of keeping the throttle slide and rotor mechanism properly adjusted at the carburetor. Given how many different carburetor and control assemblies it turns up in across our catalog listings, it's worth having on hand when you're servicing an Amal carb rather than trying to source it after the fact.
Call the shop if you want to confirm which carburetor variant you're working with before ordering — with this many figure appearances over more than a decade, it helps to have your model and carb type in hand.
