This is the clutch spring pin, 1/4 inch British Standard Cycle by 1 3/4 inches long, shown in the clutch and primary chaincase figures. It's one of the small threaded pins used with the clutch springs on the primary side of the engine, and it turns up in the parts book across several years running into the early 1970s.
