BSA Double-ended box spanner
A double-ended box spanner from the factory toolkit, listed in catalog toolkit entries from 1969 to 1972.
This is a double-ended box spanner, the kind that used to ride in the toolkit under the seat rather than in a mechanic's roll cabinet. Box spanners like this one were part of the factory-supplied tool kit, meant for jobs where a socket wrench wouldn't fit or wasn't handy - reaching into tight spots on the bike to get at a nut or bolt that a standard open-end spanner couldn't manage cleanly.

The catalog shows this one turning up across toolkit listings from 1969 through 1972, so it was a fixture in the kit for a run of those years. Beyond that, our records don't spell out which specific nut or fastener sizes it was cut for, so if you're trying to match up a missing tool from an original kit, give us a call and we'll see what we can confirm.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
