THROTTLE NEEDLE 375 B TYPE
Amal 375 B type throttle needle for the 3TA/5TA carburetor, also listed as 376/063.
This is the 375 B type throttle needle for the Amal carburetor fitted to Triumph's 3TA and 5TA models. The needle sits inside the carburetor slide and works with the throttle cutaway to meter fuel across the mid-range as you roll the throttle open, so if you're chasing a flat spot or hesitation partway through the throttle travel, this is one of the parts worth checking.

The catalog also lists it under 376/063, so if your parts book or an old box of spares shows that number, it's the same needle. Our records tie it to the 3TA and 5TA carburetor figure, spanning several years in the mid-1960s catalogs.
Amal still produces these on original tooling, so a new needle should drop straight into the slide it came out of. Match it against your existing needle profile before ordering, and check your parts book if you're not certain which needle your carb calls for.
