SPOKE NIPPLE (DISC)
A 10 gauge, .250 OD spoke nipple used to tension and secure wheel spokes to the rim.
This is the spoke nipple listed in the parts books as SPOKE NIPPLE (DISC), part number 37-2294, also known by the older W2294 designation. It shows up in the front wheel and rear wheel sections of the catalog, so it's a standard wheel-building part used on either end of the bike depending on how the wheel is laced up.

A spoke nipple is the small threaded fitting that connects the spoke to the rim, letting you tension the wheel by turning it in against the rim bed. This one is cataloged as a .250 OD, 10 gauge nipple with a 1/4 inch hole, which lines up with the rim and spoke gauge it's meant to pair with.
These wear and corrode over time, and it's common to replace a full set when rebuilding a wheel rather than mixing old and new. The catalog entry spans a long run of years, so check what your wheel actually takes before ordering a batch.
