BRAKE ROD TLS FRONT BRAKE
Brake rod for a twin leading shoe (TLS) front drum brake, linking the operating arms so both shoes engage together.
This is the front brake rod for a twin leading shoe (TLS) front drum brake, catalog number 37-2003, also listed as W2003 in older parts books. It runs from the brake lever pivot at the wheel to the second shoe cam, transferring the pull from the operating arm so both shoes apply evenly.

The catalog shows this rod turning up across a run of front wheel figures, including the earlier and later type front wheel drawings and the T100 family variants (T100T, T100R, T100C, T100S, T90), so Triumph carried this same rod through a number of front wheel setups over the years. Since there's more than one front wheel figure listed, worth checking your own front brake assembly against the parts book drawing before ordering to make sure you've got the TLS setup and not a single leading shoe arrangement.
If you're rebuilding a TLS front drum, this rod is a good one to inspect for wear at the ends where it connects to the operating arms, since a sloppy fit there can throw off how evenly the two shoes bite.
