FRONT BRAKE CAM TWINS SLS
Front brake camplate for Triumph twins with the single-leading-shoe front drum brake.
37-1243 is the front brake camplate for Triumph twins running the single-leading-shoe (SLS) front drum brake. It's the part that pivots when you pull the front brake lever, pushing the shoe out against the drum to slow the wheel. In our records it shows up under the front wheel figures for the 6T and T120, and separately for the TR6 and U.S.A. T120, so it's a common piece across those front hubs in that era.

The older book form of this part number was W1243, so if you're working from an early parts list and it's not turning up, that's the number to look for instead.
Catalog appearances for this cam run across a few seasons in the mid-1960s. If you're rebuilding a front drum brake and the cam is worn, pitted, or has play at the pivot, this is the piece to replace along with the shoes and springs while the wheel's apart.
