Tickler
Tickler button for an Amal carburetor float chamber, used to flood the bowl for cold starts.
This is the tickler for an Amal carburetor, the little spring-loaded button on top of the float chamber that you press down to flood the float bowl for a cold start. Push it and it holds the float down, letting extra fuel rise up into the bowl so you get a richer mixture before you kick the bike over.
