Horn relay 6RA (99-1227)
Lucas 6RA horn relay, PN 33213, for the horn circuit on unit-era Triumphs.
This is the horn relay, Lucas 6RA, catalog number 33213. It's an electrical component that sits in the horn circuit, taking the switching load off the horn button so the button itself only has to carry a small trigger current instead of the full amperage the horn draws. The relay does the heavy switching work behind the scenes.

It turns up in the catalog under HORNS and also gets grouped in with the instrument and instrument-cable figures, which just reflects how these bikes bundle electrical bits together in the parts books rather than telling you much about where it's mounted. The catalog record for this one spans the early-to-mid '70s.
If you're chasing down a horn that won't sound, or one that only works intermittently, the relay is one of the usual suspects alongside the horn itself and the horn button contacts. Confirm fitment against your machine before ordering since our record here doesn't pin it to one specific model.
