Norton Rear Engine Plate Washer
A mounting washer used with the rear engine plates on the crankcase and engine mounting assembly.
This is a washer that goes with the rear engine plates, the pieces that tie the bottom of the engine to the frame. The catalog places it in the engine mounting group alongside the head steady and centre stand hardware, and it shows up across crankcase, breather, and tachometer drive figures for both the 750 and 850 engine listings.

A washer at this location does the job any washer does here — it spreads the clamping load from the mounting bolt across the plate so the fastener seats properly and doesn't work loose under vibration. Given how many different figure groupings this part number turns up in, it looks like a common hardware item used at more than one point in the mounting setup rather than a single dedicated location.
The manufacturer tag on this part says Lucas, but a washer for engine mounting plates is a mechanical fastener, not an electrical part, so that tag doesn't hold up. Treat this as a plain mounting-hardware washer and check it against your own engine plate stack before ordering.
