Split pin
A 3/32 in. x 1/2 in. split pin used in the seat and side panel mounting hardware.
This is a split pin sized 3/32 in. by 1/2 in., the kind of small hardware that shows up wherever something needs to be secured but still removable without cutting or welding. In this shop's records it turns up in the panels and twinseat figures, so it's used to retain fasteners or fittings on the seat or side panel mounting hardware rather than anything inside the engine or gearbox.

The manufacturer tag on file says Amal, but Amal is a carburetor maker and a split pin like this has nothing to do with a carb - that tag is almost certainly a mismatch in our records rather than a real Amal part. Treat this as generic hardware rather than a branded component.
If you're replacing one on a seat or panel fitting, it's worth grabbing a couple extra since split pins aren't meant to be reused once they've been opened up and pulled.
