5/16 in. BSC x 1 1/4 in. bolt that secures the footrest to its anchor bolt.

This is the bolt that secures the footrest to its anchor bolt, as listed in the footrest and brake linkage section of the parts book. It's a 5/16 inch British Standard Cycle thread, 1 1/4 inch long, and its whole job is holding the footrest assembly onto its mounting point so the peg doesn't work loose or shift around.
