BSA Bolt, tie bracket to exhaust pipe (1/4" B.S.C. × 3/8")
A 1/4 inch B.S.C. by 3/8 inch bolt that secures the exhaust pipe tie bracket.
This is a small bolt used to secure the exhaust pipe tie bracket, the fitting that clamps the two exhaust pipes together for rigidity as they run back from the cylinder head. The catalog lists it as a 1/4 inch B.S.C. bolt, 3/8 inch long, and it turns up in the FRAME, SWINGING ARM, and CYLINDER BARREL, EXHAUST PIPES, VALVES sections of the parts books.

It's not a glamorous part, but a missing or worn one lets the exhaust pipes flex against each other and against the frame, which can crack brackets or loosen the whole exhaust run over time. Keep the size and thread called out here in mind when sourcing a replacement.
