Float spindle
Float spindle for the Amal carburetor float assembly, part number 19-3116 / 622/071.
This is the float spindle for the Amal carburetor, the small pivot pin that the float assembly hinges on inside the float chamber. As the fuel level rises and falls, the float rides up and down on this spindle, which in turn works the needle valve to meter fuel into the bowl. It's a simple part but an important one — if it's worn, bent, or the float hangs up on it, you get flooding or fuel starvation.

This one shows up in the carburetor sections of the parts books across a handful of catalog entries from the early '70s. It's listed under Amal, consistent with it being a carburetor internal rather than anything on the Triumph side of the machine.
If you're rebuilding a float bowl and the spindle's grooved or the float won't sit level, it's worth swapping this out along with the float and needle valve while everything's apart.
