"O" ring, pilot air and throttle stop screws
Small O-ring that seals the pilot air screw and throttle stop screw on the Amal carburetter.
This is the small O-ring Amal used to seal the pilot air screw and the throttle stop screw on the carburetter. It's a simple rubber sealing ring that keeps these adjustment screws from leaking air or fuel past their threads once they're set, which matters for keeping your idle mixture and idle speed steady rather than wandering as the ring around the screw ages or hardens.

It shows up across the Carburetter figures in the parts books, including the air cleaner variant, so it's a piece that gets called out more than once depending on which carb assembly you're looking at. The catalog appearances run from 1969 into 1972.
It's cheap insurance against an air leak nobody can diagnose by ear alone -- if your idle won't hold steady and you've checked everything else, a hardened or split O-ring on one of these screws is worth a look. Have your carb in front of you when you order so you get the right one for pilot air versus throttle stop if the shop needs to confirm which screw you're sealing.
