Abutment for clutch cable
The fixed abutment on the gearbox outer cover that the clutch cable bears against, part number 13762.
This is the abutment for the clutch cable, the small fixed point on the gearbox outer cover that the clutch cable outer sleeve butts up against so the inner wire can pull the clutch operating arm. Without a solid abutment the cable has nothing to react against and the clutch adjustment goes soft or won't hold at all.

It shows up in the gearbox outer cover figures in our catalog, with appearances spanning 1969 to 1971. If you're chasing a clutch cable adjustment problem or replacing a cracked or worn abutment, this is the part.
The manufacturer code on file for this one says Lucas, but an abutment for a clutch cable is a mechanical fitting, not an electrical part, so don't read too much into that tag.
