A 1/2 x 5/16 master link for 428-pitch chain, used to join or open the chain without pressing pins.
This is a master link (also called a connector link) for 428-pitch chain, sized 1/2 x 5/16. It's the removable link that lets you join a chain into a closed loop without pressing pins, or break the chain open for cleaning and inspection.

We don't have much history on this one in our catalog beyond the basic spec, so we can't speak to which specific bike or chain run it was pulled for. If you're matching up a chain on a Triumph or otherwise, check that the pitch and width line up with what you're running before you order.
Keep a spare on hand if you're the type who takes the chain off for cleaning regularly - a master link is one of those small parts that's easy to lose track of when it's not in the parts bin.
