Norton CYLINDER BASE NUT 3/8 TALL
A 3/8 in. tall cylinder base nut for securing the cylinder to the crankcase on the 750 engine.
This is a cylinder base nut, 3/8 size, tall pattern, listed in the crankcase and tachometer drive section of the engine parts book. It's used where the cylinder barrel mounts down onto the crankcases, holding the base studs in place and clamping the cylinder to the crankcase mouth.

The catalog shows this part across the 750 engine crankcase figures, so it belongs on that family of engine. The "tall" designation distinguishes it from a shorter nut used elsewhere in the same nut/stud family - if you're ordering, make sure the tall version is what your engine actually calls for at each base stud position.
It also appears under the alias 06.2652, which is the same nut written with a decimal point instead of a dash - both point to the same physical part in our records.
