Norton Contact Breaker Plate Assembly
Contact breaker plate assembly that carries the ignition points in the timing cover area.

This is a contact breaker plate assembly, the mounting plate that carries the ignition points inside the timing cover area of the engine. It's the piece the points themselves bolt to, and it sets the position of the breaker mechanism relative to the cam that opens and closes them.
